Hi local chapter friends! Looking for some feedback on how your companies handle travel policies....Do you pay travel and/or per diem?Is it based on a certain mileage or drive time from your existing office?Do you pay per the IRS max or some other internally defined $ figure?Is your per diem and/or travel paid in advance of employees traveling? If so, how far in advance and how often?We have carpenters, laborers and finishers in several markets including Northeast Ohio. The markets respond differently to the amounts we pay and timing of payment. I'm looking specifically as to what others in this particular market are doing.Thanks so much in advance!
